John Bunter
John Bunter served as an officer of the British Deputy High Commission in Mumbai for eight years. Based in Pune, he has worked in India's education sector for more than 15 years and has led delegations of Indian higher-education institutions to the UK on behalf of the British High Commission.
Facilitating UK–India degree collaboration
He facilitated the establishment of an institute delivering a UK degree partly in India, with international collaboration as a core area of expertise.

John established Cormack's pan-India operations and developed relationships with more than 60 Indian universities and higher-education institutions.

John was one of the principal organisers of the Royal Visit to Pune, coordinating on behalf of the British High Commission.

John subsequently established Global Education Alliance with like-minded professionals from the international education sector.
What Global Education Alliance does
Global Education Alliance (GEA) supports Indian universities and higher-education institutions in strengthening their international engagement. Our work includes establishing and developing international offices, identifying suitable global partners, and helping institutions move from initial conversations to sustainable collaborations.
GEA also organises international conferences, seminars and customised inbound and outbound academic delegations. Our market-entry and infrastructure consultancy supports international universities and schools exploring opportunities in India. Through strategic advisory and managed services, we undertake bespoke projects aligned with each institution's internationalisation priorities.
